Back-to-School Scrapbooking

When I started to scrap back-to-school photos, I did not immediately run to find a back-to-school themed kit. I only wanted a kit that would have colors that would work with my photo. One of the new releases at Sweet Shoppe,  Perfect Fit by Jenn Barrette seemed to be just what I needed. It had the colors and I loved the patterned papers and the mix of flower elements. After falling into an all-white background habit lately, I decided to use a template from the Poppy template set by Sara Gleason. The background split on the page gives it just enough pattern to be fun but not too much.

The template gave me a great starting point. I am pretty sure I went a little overboard with the layering….lol! It’s okay though. I love how it turned out. I debated whether or not I would use one photo or all 4 of the photos I took of my daughter on that morning. I decided to go with one just because I have plenty of pages with multiple photos. Plus, I just have to use this gorgeous kit again.
