It feels like it has been ages since I last posted anything here. Whenever I think I have gotten a quiet moment, something else comes up that I need to do. My little guy’s sleep schedule is not helping either. I thought that since school started we would all find our groove…. not! Not happening at all. I still wake Aida up at the same time but now I have to get up earlier. Most mornings its to feed and/or change Brayden. During the week, I try to keep baby boy awake while I am eating my breakfast and give him one more bottle by 11 am and then I try to get in a nap before I have to pick up Aida. Those afternoon naps are the only thing that save me or else I would not get any sleep at all. Aida is doing well so far in first grade. She actually has homework now which is something else I have to remember. I seriously need like a daily routine checklist just to remember stuff because I have the worst memory.
I fully intended to post Brayden’s 2 month scrapbook page back in September. He will be 3 months old in 10 days. Time is just passing by so quickly. I remember when I was nearing the end of my pregnancy and kept thinking how slow time was moving. That is definitely not the case now.
For this page, I used One For The Album Kit + Journal Cards by One Little Bird. When I created Aida’s baby pages, I was not into getting the story down in words as much as I am now. I just focused on the photos and making sure I included my favorite moments in photos in the album. Well, now that I have learned more and know what I want out of an album, I have been trying to record more of the little details.
I found the album I want to use for his first year book. I have been keeping a list of all of his firsts so I can include those in the beginning of the album with the baby book pages I am making. Then the rest of the album will be in chronological order leading up to his first birthday. I have also made a conscious effort not to use flowers on his pages… or at least I am trying my hardest not to. I know the page above has a flower on the label and I put some serious thought into using it. As long as the page is not covered in flowers, I can live with it.
Thankfully, I still have Aida’s pages that I can just go flower crazy on. These next two are my favorites that I have made in the last month.
Well…that’s all I got for now…going to attempt to get a nap and some cuddles in with my little guy. Happy Wednesday!
