It has been awhile since I have done any type of photography related post. The first couple of years with my DSLR were so fun. I was so ready to learn everything there was about photography. I was reading all types of blogs and scouring the web for tutorials to try. I even joined a forum all about photography so I could just soak in the knowledge. Somewhere along the way I got lost and my motivation kind of disappeared. It did not happen overnight; it was a slow process. I saw all of these amazing photos by others and was just stumped as to why I was not getting photos I loved. I remember when I would just pick up a camera (any type of camera) and start snapping photos. Those were some of my favorite photos. In an effort to get back to that, I try to take my camera out with more intention of capturing the moment. Even if the house is messy and my daughter may not be in the most cooperative mood, I want to be able to remember what those little moments were like. I want my children and their future children to be able to pick up an album and be able to see that we “lived.” So, today I thought I would share a few.

One thing this makes me think about: my baby is growing up way too fast!! She will be 6 in 9 days and I cannot believe it. How do they grow up so fast? Anyway… that’s all I have for now. Thanks for visiting!
