A week into this month and things are going pretty well so far. My daughter is very anxious about the upcoming holiday. I enjoy spoiling my daughter during Christmas. I am not one of those parents that put a limit on gifts. I remember having a living room filled with toys and gifts for everyone and I will never forget the feeling I had watching everyone look so happy on Christmas morning. Being able to give my child that same feeling I had is definitely something I am grateful that we are able to do. I never really told her about Santa. She found out about him from hearing other people or children talk about him. I do not go all out on the idea of Santa but I would never take that away from her. To me, that was the fun part of Christmas as a child. I always wrap gifts that are from us and I tell her I talk to Santa and send him money for the toys he should bring for her list. Right now this works in her head, so we roll with it.
This year I did not go too toy crazy. She loves board games and really wanted a dollhouse, so I definitely had to focus on getting those things. I love that she is much more interactive now. I just wish I could get her to take better care of her things though. I guess that is a kid thing. Anyway… I did not want to ramble too much. I really just wanted to share a few of the pages I have created this month. I have a couple of traditional pages I need to photograph and share, but that will probably come later.
These pages were created with the following digital items:
- Celebrate Christmas {special pack} + Hilarious Papers – Studio Basic Designs
- Peace, Kraft and Joy – Studio Basic and Micheline Martin
