It’s a….. !!!

A couple of days ago we found out the gender of the baby. I did not have my hopes up for a girl or a boy. I would have been happy either way. I just want to bring a health baby into the world to love on and nurture. My daughter, who is 5 years old, had her own hopes. She has been telling us she really wants a baby brother because she wants someone she can play rough with. The girl is a trip. No idea why she wants to be all rough but that’s her thing. She is a little daredevil.

Anyway, I put together a little video that I am going to include in my Project Life for 2014 using a QR code. My mom wanted to see my daughter’s reaction to finding out the gender. So, I first planned to get her a cute little cupcake from Gigi’s but forgot after my husband kept asking me about lunch after we left the appointment. Sooooo…. I decided to go ahead and buy baby’s first few outfits (and some for my ladybug, too). This is my first time editing a video in Photoshop CC, so please bare with me (lol!). The music is from this site: http://freemusicarchive.org/.

Only thing I wished was different the other day was for baby to have been more…. cooperative. He was all over the place. He did not want to show his face, so he kept his hands up. When the technician tried to get him to move, he would move over and wave his hands around. At one point, I was laying on my side and eventually had to go for a walk just to see if he would move so she could get the last few pictures she needed. He is definitely a bit more active than my daughter was. My daughter would start moving around at 5 AM and wake me up extra early for work, but he is quite different. He will be up and moving & kicking at any time of the day.

Not too much else going on in my world right now. I had lunch today with my hubby. He tends to stay at work and skip lunch, or he will grab some fast food, so I figured I would just text him and see if he felt like leaving the building for a little while. It has been awhile since the two of us have been to a restaurant with just us, and be able to sit in the booth together and have a conversation…. AND… be able to actually eat without distractions.

Thankfully it is starting to warm up here (finally!) and we have had some chances to get out and enjoy being outside. One of my favorite digital scrapbook stores put together this neat collaborative kit for spring [Spring Fling], and of course,  I had to make a page with some recent photos.

That’s all from me today. Hope you are having a good Friday…thanks for visiting!!
