Going back in time to August of 2013, I decided create a layout for these photos of my little Aida. Earlier that day, we had a conversation about starting school. When she was a baby, I would always talk to her and tell her the game plan for the day. I know she did not understand what I was saying. It was more of a getting into the habit kind of thing. It is something that has continued even as she has gotten older. I let her know what we are going to do and the order we are going to do it in. Letting her know what to expect meant less questions about what was going on and it helped her to learn to prepare herself. For me, it helps me keep track of what I need to do so I will not forget.
