Something Old, Something New @ The Lilypad

Each Wednesday at The Lilypad there are select digital scrapbooking products on sale for half off. For me, Wednesdays are pretty blah and the middle of the week and it’s when I really start to feel run down from the hustle and bustle during the week. Shopping always seems to be a cure for the blahs right? It is for me! With so much going on in the world today, I find that I have to keep scrapbooking these memories I have with my family. Tomorrow is not promised and you never know what it will bring. So, I am doing my very best to live for the day and make the most of it and today I am in love with the latest page I have made for my son’s scrapbook album.

Having a baby when I was away from my doctor I had known and trusted for years was a scary process. I was not sure how things would go at the hospital since we had no family or friends here to watch my daughter if I needed to have a C-section. It all turned out okay and after almost a week in the hospital, the next day my parents came to town to welcome home baby boy. I was so happy to see them there, especially when I thought our little man would not see them for months. I created this layout using Sara Gleason’s Kit + Words and it is only sale for the next 24 hours at 50% off. It is a great kit for scrapbooking those family moments, whether they are everyday moments or photos from a family event. I could even see it used for fall photos or even during Thanksgiving.

I am off to watch Married at First Sight and finish up episode 3 of Queen Sugar and hopefully I can clear my head a little in the process. More on that later though. Thanks for visiting!
