Not quite spring yet, but I was definitely loving the fresh, colorful palette of this kit, Brighter Days by Forever Joy Designs. It has been awhile since I have shared a page on here. Today’s layout is one of my favorites. At The Lilypad, on Wednesdays there is a 50% off sale on select products. On the background, I applied a blend mode to one of the pieces of word art and placed it across the page. That plus the ArtCrush No13 {Sprinkles} by NBK Design were a great addition to make this layout a little more fun. Most kits are based around a theme, so I just try to find a way to make it work for me. It is rare ever have photos on a theme. My journal text was done with a font called Bewilderment. I actually was looking for fonts to add captions to my Sims 4 photos and came across this one. It is a brush font, but it’s thickness was just right that I could type out my thoughts with a smaller font size and not worry about readability.
