Let’s Shellabrate | Scrapbooking

New layout with a birthday photo of my baby girl. I saw this gardening kit and I knew I didn’t have any directly relatable photos. So, I thought “bloom and grow” can be taken to talk about a child growing up. I wanted this layout to have some journaling to tell my daughter about her personality as of late. She is still cheerful and bubbly as ever, but because she is understanding and reading more she is definitely questioning more things.

My biggest fear about the years ahead is that her bright light that shines will be dulled as she learns more about life and experiences things on her own. For me, realizing that people were not all that nice and that the world is not as open and great as it seems, it made me rethink everything. I became ever more cautious and withdrawn. My focus is to make sure that she knows how to deal with things as they come and not let them overwhelm her or her spirit. It is still a lesson to be learned by myself, but I won’t stop trying.

Back to this layout, I just love this mix of kits and colors. I wanted a look that was soft and sweet and a little bit of fun. To get this look for your own page, check out these products at The Lilypad:
