New layout for this month’s Build Your Own Collection at The Lilypad. I have been taking more photos with my phone and trying to make time to scrapbook them. I have also made it my goal to not use so many solid white backgrounds. I love the white, but I don’t want every page in their albums to look too similar.
I wanted to use as many of the fun patterned papers as possible on this one. Most times I try to create my pages so that they reiterate the story and the mood behind the photo. They were just being silly and running around in their unicorn horns. It’s funny. I was not sure they would play together as well with their 6 year age difference, but they actually play well together. Don’t get me wrong they have their days. Baby boy can get a little too bossy about how he wants to play and big sister just don’t be hearing it. All I can do is laugh when I hear her tell him, “I’m done.” That’s our life.
