This little guy has said so many times that he cannot wait until this over, and I 100% agree with him. We have been social distancing as much as possible since March 12th. I still have no issues staying to myself, but I know my babies at least miss getting out to the park and playing with other kids.
This week was our fall break. Even though we are doing virtual school, it was a much needed break. My daughter ended the quarter with A’s and B’s. She worked very hard and I am proud of her for not letting it get to her. I told them I am not worried about the Zoom meetings since we can go over the work with them. I know Brady enjoyed working with on his own and popping into the virtual classes a couple of days a week. I am not sure what will happen next school year though. Will he be ready to sit in a classroom for 6 hours or so a day? We will figure that out when we get there, though. I told Aida that once this school year is over, we will talk and let her weigh in on the decision of how she wants to approach the 8th grade year. The good thing for her is that the online school was always an online school for middle and high school and they actually have days where they meet in the building for class. So, it could be a good mix of both.
Scrapbooking.. oh scrapbooking… I am still going. It is such an emotional hobby and if I am torn in anyway, it can be hard to express myself through my pages and tell a story. I saw this beautiful fall kit and knew I had to go out and get a photo for it. And you know, that’s a great thing! Not many things have made me want to jump up and do something lately. This was fun trying to get a photo of him and capture the fall changes.
