My baby girl is now in the fifth grade. We had a lot of important conversations over the summer. As usual, she was so ready to go back to school so that she could use her school supplies. She is so funny. Her dad and I love our stationary and it seems she is the same.
While I make sure to get what is on the teacher’s supply list, I let her pick out some cute and fun supplies to have of her own. Her favorite item this year is her unicorn pencil case. My main hope for this school year is that she does well academically and come out of her shell a bit more. She has friends, but is very picky about who she will or will not deal with, which is a good thing. One of the things I have been glad about, after playing Overwatch with her, is she is not afraid to speak up for herself.
This year I did not make a cute little sign. I figured since I scrapbook a page with all of the details and include a bit of the story, that should be good.
