Month of Challenges 2017 at The Lilypad | Day 1

The fun has began at The Lilypad! The Month of Challenges 2017 (MOC) which is hosted each January for the entire month has kicked off and I am determined to complete as many challenges as I can. This is the fifth year the challenge has been hosted and the response is always amazing. The gallery gets filled with so much creativity that it inspires to create and even try something new. The first few challenges have already been posted, but no worries. You have until February 2 at 11:59 pm  to complete your layouts and make sure they are all posted. Here are a few helpful links:

Now, I am about a week behind and had a plan. I just did not stick to it. Over the day on Saturday, I completed a layout for the first challenge. I love to journal on my pages and I really wanted to use the BYOC products from a previous layout again, so this was the perfect challenge to begin with. I chose the letter B and the focus of my 10 sentences and more is my little guy Brayden.

Inspiration for my page: I got the idea of circles from a page I recently completed and went from there and started placing elements randomly about on the page. Then, I  decided to use the “little things” from the journal card on this layout as a border element. The idea came together as I saw it in my head and I love the result. Definitely cannot wait to print this page.

If you have some pages of your own to share, please link them in the comments! I would love to see yours and leave some love.
