Earlier this week I gave myself a challenge to create as many layouts as I could using circles as the base of the design. I was not sure how it would go, but I got a few pages done that I love. Over at The Lilypad, there are so many exciting things happening right now.One of which is the Month of Challenges (MOC). I was able to complete 2 more layouts with more to come over the weekend.
Day 3: Simple Template Challenge – A free template was shared by Krista of Sahlin Studio for this challenge. I mostly stayed with the original design and just added a few embellishments here and there. I also used the photo spots as clipping masks for papers to create a background.
Day 4: Stylin’ Titles – This challenge consists of making a bold title. Leah of Mommyish Designs is hosting and she gave a free set of Photoshop styles to get you started with making an interesting and fun title for your page.
To create my layouts, I used some of the gorgeous new goodies that came out this weekend at The Lilypad and are on sale from January 13th to the 16th at 30% off. There has been a new monthly subscription kit debuted called Create Crate Montly. There are some fun things in the first kit. You should definitely check it out.
- Create Crate Monthly: In with the New {January 2017} – ForeverJoy, Kristin Aagard and Mommyish
- Work It Girl! Digital Kit + Journal Cards – Storyteller January 2017 Add-on – Just Jaimee
- Believe {Dressed Up} – Fiddle-Dee-Dee Designs
- Dear Diary: Bits & Pieces + Patterns & Backgrounds – Allison Pennington
- Memory Pockets Monthly: DIARY – TLP Designers
For my MOC layouts, I was debating whether or not I would start a thread in the forum. I thought it would be a good motivator if I did. Maybe I will get more done. :) Here is a link to it if you are curious: Tronesia’s MOC Layouts at The Lilypad.
Thanks for visiting and happy Friday!
