Fresh out of Photoshop, a new layout to preserve this special memory with my 8-year old daughter. This year she will be in 3rd grade and she was excited for school to begin. I was nowhere near as excited as her. We enjoyed having her with us all day during the summer. I definitely enjoyed going through the day without a schedule or deadline. In her own way, she let me know she enjoys the summer, but misses school after a while. She started to miss it just as it was time to start back. Good timing, Belles.
When I started working on this page, I only knew that I wanted to use these photos. I had no idea what it was going to look like or what I wanted it to look like. The unfortunate side effect of my crazy sleeping schedule is that it is hard to be creative. Psh! It’s hard to think some days. First thing I decided on after selecting my photos was the background. I knew I wanted white, but this cute paper with the triangle shapes and different patterns caught my eye immediately. From there, I started creating different shapes and clipping papers and just winged it from there. I almost deleted the whole page and started over. Glad I didn’t because I love how it turned out.
