The Fine Print

All opinions expressed on this blog are my own. The photos and layouts shown are my own, unless I have stated otherwise. I choose what to share and review. Scrapbooking with Pastels

Over at The Lilypad, the Memory Pockets Monthly is one of my favorite collections. I love to see the color palette and see how each designer interpreted it into their own style. For March, the collection is Flourish. The colors are soft, fresh, and gorgeous together. When I saw it, I knew I needed to hurry and make time to use the collection and some of the add-ons.

For this layout, I went back to some photos of my kiddos last spring. We were still in Wisconsin, so it was more than likely still a cold day with some snow and/or ice still lingering. I decided to let them have some fun with paint. My son did not want to stop painting. I remember having to hide it all after this evening. He asked to paint everyday that week after, so I know he had a good time.

As far as the arrangement of my layout, I loosely followed the recently released template from Believe [Dressed Up] template set by Fiddle-Dee-Dee Designs. I’ve still been playing around with my shadows. Some objects I want flat to look as if they are a part of the background and some I want to stand off the page. With scrapbooking, there is no right or wrong; only your preference.
