A couple of new pages done for the holidays. I have been trying to use my time wisely – spend time with the family, scrapbook some, play the Sims. The 1-year old keeps me busy!
This first page is of my daughter with photos from last year. I completed it with the Sweet Shoppe Designs December Bingo challenge in mind. I used prompt # 21, which said to use a movie quote as a title. I googled and found some quotes from Prep and Landing that I liked. I thought this one was too cute and so is the digital kit I chose. This one is a collaboration between Jady Day Studio and Kristin Cronin-Barrow called All is Bright. The colors of the kit fit my daughter’s personality so well.
The second page I am sharing was done with the December White Space challenge at The Lilypad in mind. Challenges can be a great source of ideas when in need and this one was just what I needed to get my page started. I had no idea what I was going to do but when I saw Sara Gleason’s Artifacts (Papers + Elements) and Valorie Wibbens’ snowflakes, I knew I had to use them together. I just was not sure how. I also used a paper from the Warm Hugs set by Valorie.

A couple of things to note:
- New designers coming to SSD and TLP. Check out both stores in the coming weeks. Red Ivy Design has made her debut at Sweet Shoppe, so check her out there!
- TLP has a new look! I cannot say I love it enough…go…see it… now… a must!! My heart always goes pitter patter for fresh, clean, modern designs. There are so many new features that make you feel even more connected.
- Month of Challenges (MOC) at TLP – A new challenge each day for the entire month of January. Think you can do it? There are prizes involved AND the possibility of becoming a Polly (creative team member)! The countdown has already began. I am not hosting this year, so I plan to participate.
