I always talk about my children and what they are up to. It is not often I speak about him. Today is his birthday. I always joke with him that he can be such an old man but I would not have him any other way. We have been experiencing life together since June 2006. It all started with a message to my inbox back in April of that year. I have seen him change and grow so much since that time. Not only that, but I have to admit he has taught me a lot about life. He is the only person that I can be utterly honest with and he will reciprocate the same.

It has amazed me to see his ambitious nature and watch him reach each goal he has set for himself. These past couple of years have been filled with a lot of change for us. He has told me about his dreams from day one and I knew that one day it would be my time to show him the kind of support that he deserves. He is a wonderful father and provider. He has also been a great partner along this journey (even when I am demanding and grouchy from getting no sleep). I hope to continue to see many more birthdays with him and experience even more of life together. I love him beyond words and hope he has a wonderful birthday. He only asked for one thing… silence (lol!). Happy Birthday, old man!
