This year I have gotten more photos at the park than I ever have. We usually go towards the middle or later part of the evening and most times, they are not many people around. I love that and I hate it at the same time. I know Aida looks forward to seeing if there will be other kids out there, but sometimes a nice moment with just us is just as good. This particular day there were quite a few people out. I thought she would play with the kids but she actually preferred to play by herself and have me taking photos. She loves action shots, so she does all she can to give me silly faces or some kind of silly move as she is sliding down the sliding board.
I tried something a little different this time with processing and tried to to keep it clean as possible. I like how these turned out. I am never sure of the look I want until I start working with a photo. Today I thought I would share a straight-out-of-camera image that has only been re-sized for the web. When I first started learning about photography, I thought that people’s photos came out looking like perfection. True enough, getting it right in camera is the first part, but adding that little some special can enhance your photo. I am learning to not overdo it because the photos that I love the most look the most natural.
