It has been a month since we celebrated our little guy’s birthday. Since he has been born, our celebrations consisted of the four of us. It has kind of become our tradition to decorate the living room and the dining table, order a cake, get some ice cream, and dinner was the birthday person’s favorite foods. This year we were so fortunate to be able to have my parents and my nieces with us to celebrate. Although, once we showed Brayden his cake, no one around him mattered. All he saw was a train cake that he was ready to eat.
It was definitely a fun day. Seeing his reactions to his balloons, cake, and listening to him sing the birthday song…. it was priceless. A moment I will not forget. He loves construction trucks and all kinds of vehicles, so when he opened his delivery from his Auntie, he was ecstatic and screamed “It’s a backhoe!” Pretty sure he played with that truck for a couple of hours before breaking it in and introducing it to the dump truck and excavator.
