Moments Like This

When I first started digital scrap booking in 2008, I am pretty sure I drove my guy crazy. We had to share a computer at the time and most times, I would not let him get on. I had to get in my scrap time. I was reading tutorials and experimenting with techniques. I wanted to scrap as well as my scrap idols. Once I was done digging through all of that, it became something different for me.

It is my way of preserving my family’s memories. I came across a page from 2 years ago with photos of my daughter, my nieces and myself. Just sitting here reading the journaling, I could remember that Saturday night like it was fresh in my mind. They moved three hours away from us when Aida was 3 years old and she missed them so much. I remember spending as much time with them as possible before they moved. We had a lot of fun.

I would get them on Saturdays and we would cook, order pizza or make sandwiches and eat a box of Publix chocolate chip cookies. Aida loves her cousins, and I loved seeing those three interact (even when they were driving me wild!).
