Project Life | 2012 : Weeks 40-46

Hey hey! It’s Saturday and I am in a good mood… a good cleaning mood. I have been throwing away a few things this morning. Just trying to de-clutter and get rid of some stuff I just do not need. Then, as usual, I got sidetracked by another task. I started moving photos from my camera and iPhone to my EHD and discovered the EHD for photos is getting full. So, I am trying to upload some of my 2012 scrapbook layouts to print to use some of these pre-paid print credits I have. Once they are printed, I will delete those photos off my drive. I will still have a few backups of them, but I just don’t need to clog up space that I can be using for more photos. Plus… this fall, I already know I will be trying to find a way to narrow it all down because their will be an abundance of photos with a new baby around. I still am trying to figure out how to scrap for two kids. I am so used to it all being about Aida and our little threesome. It’s a very welcome change though… and I am sure my little ladybug will be very helpful. She already helps me save the little notes she leaves me each day. This morning she came into my room and saw I had the post-it notes sitting out. From there she just started writing notes and even made a sign for my bedroom door to match the one on hers. She has always loved writing but now that I can actually read ‘real’ words on her notes, they are a real treat to find.

A few weeks ago I heard her sounding out my name. I kept wondering what she was trying to say. Was she trying to be funny? What is she implying about my name? I walked in and saw her trying to spell it on her own. I have to say, she did a pretty good job. She was so proud of herself and of course, I was too. My name is not the easiest to say and most adults do not even try to spell it out. They wait on me to spell it.

Before I head out, here are some of my latest project life pages. I love to look back and see the little things that were going on. Even if there was no big event, just a status message or a couple of iPhone photos… it helps me to remember what life was like at a specific moment in time.
