It has been a few weeks since my baby girl’s birthday and I am just getting around to creating more pages about her special day and the celebration. I am not sure what it is but she has always been excited about her birthday. She could not wait to be a 6 year old. It made me wonder if there was something special that happened at age 6 that I am forgetting about. One thing she was sure to let me know was that she wanted to go to Red Robin for dinner that evening. I got a few silly photos while she enjoyed her birthday sundae.

After that, we took a few photos outside. I have been wanting to start the tradition of a family photo on each birthday but it never seemed to happen. This is the first year I can remember getting some and I actually like how they turned out.

Today at The Lilypad the SOSN sale is going on which means 50% off specials. Before I had the wonderful opportunity to be a part of the creative team, I loved shopping the sale to see what gems I would find . The Twirl kit and the Summer Lights Papers & Journal Cards I used in the above page are on sale today. If you don’t have them, you should definitely check them out today. I also used them to create the following layouts about my wonderful Mother’s Day.
The days before Mother’s Day, Aida kept asking me about the things I like. She asked about my favorite color, how old I am, what I like to do …. I had no idea what she was up to. It turns out she was creating an ‘All About My Mom’ page. Of course, I had to get a close-up photo of it so that I can preserve this memory. The funniest thing on the page was her thinking my favorite food is sushi. It seems that she picked that up from us playing The Sims 3 with me; most of the Sims I make, I choose sushi as their favorite food. At least I know she is paying attention though.
That’s all from me now. I have gotten back my “need” to scrap and the BYOC at The Lilypad is going to be released this weekend. It is gorgeous as usual and calling my name. Hope your Wednesday is going well! Thanks for visiting!
