Two quick things to share today before I get the morning started here.
First, I had fun creating this layout for the SOSN sale at The Lilypad today. Scrapping with Liz’s Fun with Envelopes Templates were a joy to work with and create my layout. I have had this photo sitting and waiting to be scrapped for a while now. I have had a lot on my mind lately and my ideas have been slow coming to me.
For the “Forever” title, I wrote the word with one of my favorite fonts (League Spartan) and applied a slight amount of embossing on the edges and clipped patterned papers to each letter. The template has been flipped to change the orientation just a bit. I wanted the design to go from left to right instead of from top to bottom. Just a quick little change gives you even more options when using your favorite template set. The digital products I used to create this layout look include:
- Archetype : Elements + Cards + Papers – Sara Gleason
- Milestone : Elements + Papers – One Little Bird
- Fun with Envelopes Templates 2 – Scrapping w/Liz
And, I must not forget about my favorite journaling font. It is Jessica Elaine, the medium version.
Next, I will probably take my blog down again. No one probably noticed but I did. :) I took my blog down recently to change a few things and I am ready for an overhaul. I need to clean out my WordPress archives with old media and start anew. I have some plans that I would like to go forward with so I am contemplating whether or not to make a secondary blog for that purpose. I feel like I need to because it will ensure my focus and then I can still post here about whatever and not feel guilty for not staying on topic. I have never worried about staying in one lane on this blog because it is kind of my expression of me and my place to share my scrapbook pages and personal stuff. Not sure yet… but I am plotting and planning and hope to be able to get started soon.
This weekend my hubby is going to help me put together my new PC. All the parts for it have arrived and I am so excited. There will definitely be photos.
Anyway, hope your Wednesday is off to a good start!
